A 20kWh battery's runtime depends on load. At 250W continuous draw, it would last approximately 80 hours. Block Battery's largest pack (970Wh SLi-D1000) can be linked for expanded capacity. For full production day coverage at typical 100–250W loads, multiple linked packs provide extended uninterrupted operation.

Block Battery offers packs with single 14V output, dual 14V/28V output, and multi-voltage systems supporting 14.4V, 24V, 28.8V, and 30V. This covers the full range of professional cinema cameras, broadcast equipment, LED lights, and accessories from Sony, RED, Canon, and Arri.

Several models — including the SLi-D600, SLi-D1000, and The Protean — feature disassemblable or split designs that comply with airline carry-on and shipping regulations for lithium batteries under IATA and DOT guidelines. Non-disassemblable models are subject to standard lithium battery transport rules.

Block Battery supports V-Mount (V-Lock), B-Mount, Gold Mount, Gold Mount Plus, and Three Stud mount configurations across its product line. Eliminator plates are also available for the SLi-300 and SLi-D600, allowing battery power to be offloaded from camera bodies to rods, shoulder rigs, or light stands.
