A 150Wh V-Mount battery provides 150 Watt Hours of energy capacity, supporting loads between 0 and 150 watts. This capacity is sufficient to power professional cinema and broadcast cameras, on-camera lights, and accessories for extended shooting sessions without frequent battery swaps on set.

A standard 150Wh lithium battery typically exceeds the FAA carry-on limit of 100Wh without airline approval, and batteries above 160Wh are generally prohibited in carry-on luggage. Some V-Mount batteries, like the Protean, are designed to split into two electrically isolated 75Wh units, making each portion fully compliant with standard carry-on regulations.
