Runtime depends on load draw and battery capacity. Block Battery's cinema batteries range from 150Wh (The Protean) to over 970Wh (SLi-D1000). At a 250W load, a 970Wh battery provides approximately 3.5–4 hours of runtime. Lighter camera and accessory loads of 50–100W can extend runtime to 8–18 hours. Linking multiple batteries further increases capacity.

Block Battery's 30V-capable systems support multiple voltage outputs including 14.4V, 24V, 28.8V, and 30V DC. Dual-voltage models like the SLi-D600 and SLi-D1000 provide simultaneous nominal 16V DC and regulated 28V DC outputs, making them compatible with a wide range of professional cinema and broadcast cameras and accessories.
