The battery supports both 14V and 28V output configurations. Users can quickly switch between the two modes to accommodate a wide range of production equipment. The 28V mode is ideal for on-camera power on Gold Mount Plus-compatible cinema cameras, while 14V suits standard broadcast and cinema accessories.

The Protean battery is compatible with Gold Mount (Three Stud), Gold Mount Plus (28V on-camera), B-Mount, and V-Lock (V-Mount) styles. This multi-mount design makes it a versatile solution for productions using cameras like Sony FX9, RED, Canon cinema cameras, and Arri Alexa systems requiring various battery plate configurations.

The V-Mount battery supports loads from 0 to 150 watts. This range accommodates a broad variety of production equipment, including cameras, on-camera monitors, follow focus systems, and lighting accessories up to 150W. It's engineered to deliver stable power across the full load spectrum without compromising performance or runtime.

D-Tap is available on the 14G (Gold Mount) and 14V (V-Lock) configurations of the Protean battery. It is not included in the 28G (Gold Mount Plus) configuration.
